The summer is coming, it has to be right! Ack patience, patience... What to do in the interim... skin prep! If you haven't tried dry brushing you gotta, not only will it leave your skin buffed and beautiful but it's actually is good for your health too. It exfoliates to open pores and helps expel toxins. Next, you want to moisturize. I'm big on using naturals oils, they leave your skin lustrous, some vitamins and minerals can be absorbed through your skin AND they have naturals SPFs... what? Yes you read that correctly. Olive, coconut and sesame oil are about a 5 and wheatgerm oil is a 20 spf and that's only a few of them. Of course you must use caution when spending time under the sun, but like always we want to think about what you put in and on your body. Wanna know more, start here maybe followed by a google search or two. Fascinating stuff. Now let's focus all our positive thoughts on moving those clouds so the sun can shine down this weekend!

I'm blogging about back ends again. I'm sorry. This will be the last one for a while... who knows maybe I'll never blog about booty ever again. This is important, a public announcement regarding what I consider to be an epidemic. Too many women are wearing see-through stretch pants. You've seen it and you assume it's not happening to you. Well you're wrong, it's happening to all of us. Everywhere I look there's some chick bent over, with her glory hanging out like it's a thing. Come on, buy a size up. They're tight and you look good, but they don't need to be that tight. It's just silly. If you must stretch the hell out of your stretch pants, wear underwear. Basic stuff. And to all the yoga pant designers, buyers, manufactures, retailers...cut it out. The material was thicker and the sizes bigger like two years ago, stop messing around. Alright, Cat has an awesome recipe for tomorrow I promise. I've digressed and I'm aware of it.

My friend Lolly has gorgeous long, thick, shiny, really curly hair. This is the complete opposite description of my hair... so I was insta sold when told me she's been using Argan Oil on her roots and ends. I tried Argan on my hair, and it's been okay but the quick results showed on my face. After applying a small amount it to the areas around my eyes and my forehead where I tend to breakout the most and have fine lines the overall appearance has been noticeably smooth and supple. Yay! Argan Oil is worth reading about, it's trending in the beauty world and in combination with it being a difficult to extract oil, made by "co-operatives of women in Morocco" I was a bit leery. There are so many opportunities for marketers to exploit all involved, so do your research and don't be lured by advertising, packaging or high price point. I use Argan Oil by Enfleurage Organics. Their website is informative, and the product meets the basic requirements for good quality Argan: dark bottle, right price, small quantity, light smell, single ingredient, absorbs quickly into the skin. The owner is very knowledgeable and stands behind her product. Enfleurage has a booth at Sorauren Market on Mondays and their products are also sold at Whole Foods.
